Yann Chye completed her undergraduate studies in psychology and neuroscience at the University of Melbourne in 2014, and subsequently completed her PhD with BMH.
She is now a research fellow, focusing on unveiling the link between cannabis use and brain and psychological health. She is interested in understanding the neurocognitive underpinnings of addiction and recovery, particularly through structural and functional imaging methods. Her recent publications have, by collating large-scale imaging data, demonstrated cannabis use- and dependence-associated structural alterations consistent across multi-imaging-sites. She is also involved with the international ENIGMA Addiction Working Group to analyse data relevant to addiction phenotype.
