The aim of this study is to examine the effects of genetic variants on cognitive ability and brain function. We know that genetics explains a significant proportion of individual differences in cognitive ability.  What we do not know is the precise genetic variants that underlie these differences.  This study is recruiting a large group of people with no prior history of mental or neurological illness to take part in a comprehensive behavioural, brain imaging and genetic assessment.
